Perfect weather today, 2nd day for me without a single bite. They were catching a few today, I just lack proper gear, so I picked-up a cheap 14' crappie rod, a couple packs of jigs, and a jar of Crappie Nibbles, and plan to hit the water early in the AM. Got out today about time they shut-off (10:30). Casting with spinning gear and working jigs back just don't cut it here, you gotta be on the stumps, and 6' spinning rods just don't work for that.

ETA: Water temp 56* when I got off the water about 2:00PM.
