the Okuma 15dx is a popular one for pulling cranks, I have 2 and have no problems so far, but have only used them less than 10x's, check out the MS board, they pull cranks alot and have more experience.
I'm looking to buy 2 small line counter reels for crappie crankin and maybe walleye and stripers. Is there one reel that can do all and still be small. I've seen Okuma 15DX and Diawa has one also. Also any sponsors on here that have them available chime in.

GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
If money is not a factor this is the smallest line counter reel I have seen, and they are smooth as silk.

mb, I have the Diawa accudepth plus 17, and the Okuma 15. I like the Diawa best, but they are usually 54.00 against the 27.00 for Okuma. For the money I would probably spend the 28.00 and get the Okuma 20's. If they hold up to the Mississippi bunch, they got to be good.
I use the cabelas ones .they are made like the diawa and they are on sale till the 6th bof Jan. for 32 bucks.

I use the Cabelas DepthmasterII linecounter trolling reels not had any problems I use 17 lb test hi vis and pull cranks or spider rig with them. They go on sale for 34 bucks a piece every couple months it seems. They come with two different handles and are not to big but heavy enough to handle the big catfish or striper.
