I love wearing boots while fishing. I bought a muckboots scrub boot a few months ago and I've been loving the experience. I'm no longer afraid of slipping on the deck and it keeps my feet from getting wet.
Haha...this thread is 9 years old. How many of you are still wearing the same shoes??? [emoji41]

Flip flops or snow shoes.
Merrell waterproof trail shoes in summer.
Mucks or similar in winter . I either wear neoprene /rubber or make sure I have my waders in the truck/boat.Wet feet in winter is bad news and with low winter water levels and windy days I get in water more than I would prefer but not fishing is not an option.
Hank
Sperry water shoes in the spring/summer then medium thinsulate waterproof in the fall then Sorrel wool lined in the winter.....repeat
And to be honest I'm happier in the Sorrel's
