I took out many guys that can seriously catch fish. I expected the fish to just jump in the boat. EVERYONE always got skunked, never could figure out why.

I got more history on my boat the other day. I spent 4 hours with a man by the name of Jim Smith, who was a professional bass fisherman for Charger Boats. He looked over my rig and give me some information about it and how it was supposed to be set up, but has since been hacked up by previous owners. "There isn't much that will cripple a boat, that mess under there will do it." This was his comments when he saw the train wreck of wiring under the dash. He told me the story about how Charger boat owner took an 18 & 20 foot boat up the Mississippi from Louisiana to St. Louis. Charger to this day holds the 18 foot record. He told us how they took aluminum sheet and covered the nose to the cockpit for aerodynamics. We made out the name of Eberlin out Hermann MO as the Team owner of my old girl. I did some research and found an Eberlin Boats in Hermann MO. If you know of them, let them know I have their old boat. The nicest thing happened to me in a long time! My friend Scott and his dad Jim, troubleshot and replaced my aerator motor. I kept telling Scott, "You don't have to do this." It was a very nice gesture by these two gentlemen!

That is part of the reason I ripped every wire out of my boat. That, and the many spots the mice chewed on.
Very nice of those two gentleman!
    Interesting background on the boat!

Well this is my plan when I'm recovering from my knee replacement. I also sent an email to Eberlin Boats to see if the old owner is around.

Since I've made some changes to my ride I thought I'd put up some new pictures. I had a new 70 Four Stroke put on it last week and this week I worked on building a console for my wife's side of the boat. For 14 years I've been riding behind the windshield and she's been in the open. Well today I change that. I installed the console I build just for her. She is thrilled although she will not be able to ride for some time as she just had rotator cuff surgery, she is happy as can be and can't hardly wait.
