I think Slab should disable the non registrered folks from being able to view our pic and attachments. This would spur a lot of lurkers into signing up. They can still read our posts, but not be able to view our pics we download.

If a member is not logged in, isn't he technically a "guest"? I always figured that most of these "guests" are just members who are not logged in.

Most mornings, I get on here and just read the posts without logging in. At those times, I am considered a "guest". I don't log on unless I want to post something.

Yes, if you don't log in, you're counted as one of those guests. Also, "spiders" are often counted as guests. Spiders are computers that scan sites for content for their search engines, like google, yahoo.... There are many, and only some of the big ones are known and not included in that "guest" count.

Personally, I think I ought to count as at least 3 or 4 users. And iffen ya want slab, I can send you a list of folks that ought not to count at all.

I too had to login for a reply,I think thats given bad advise to slab.Why would they want to join just to see a fish,lure or horse.WE they can see anything they want though the internet.Been to a few sights as you say or cann't see pictures without joining,I'm not a member to none of them.It didn't make me WANT to join b/c I couldn't see what they were talking about.

How on the other hand where you can go to a web sight and see pictures and read post I'm a member on several.Can you explain why if I cann't see it I don't want it and if I can see it I want it and have to join to ask,buy or trade.
