A great sight to see him off of crutches. Thank him for keeping America free for without these people like your son we would not be as free as we are. Your son is a hero to me as well as countless others like me and relay the message to him and tell him we salute him.

I challenge each one of you, to every time you see a man, woman in uniform to walk up to them and shake there hands and THANK them for their service. and might i add that includes our retired men and woman.Skip as i may never meet your son in person, so please shake his hand and thank him for his service. My name is Harry Coleman. I would like to tell you that i was at Memphis Tn airport once waiting on the return of my wife from a business trip, and two young marines were walking out of airport as i was going in, and i stopped them and thanked them. One of them made a comment of he had been in the corp for 10 yrs and not once as a stranger stopped him and thanked him, and that me doing so let him know that there are still people in this world that CARE.So please do so. In closing MAY GOD BE WITH OUR MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN .

    Skip,
That's great news. I haven't been on this forum in ages and the 1st post I see is about Randy.
We have prayed lots for him and it looks like it is working. Glad to see the report!!!

Fine looking young man. Glad he's getting over the surguries he's had to go thru. I hope his medical problems with his leg are all behind him now. He looks like he's got the right attitude so this handicap doesnt slow him down none either. Many thanks for all your son had to go thru doing his duty to our country.

Thank you all and I can tell you I tell him all the time about you guys and the things you say. He and My family really do appreciate it.

Big Nasty I feel the need to tell you about when he first got back from there and in the hospital in San Antonio (BAMC). While there we met so many family members of other soldiers as well as many many soldiers, both women and men and every one had such a great attitude. Also the services at that base/hospital are top notch and they really take care of the family's and soldiers at that place. It was something I wish that I could share with everyone in this country. It was something else and we spoke and said thank you to so many while there. It was also very sobering to see all the pain and events for each family. We were always in the family room taking turns seeing Randy and would visit with all the families there. It was something I can't even put a name on.
