Condos look great! Hope the crappie think so as well!
They look excellent; not too dense in the center, nice spread (overhang); think yes, a large cooler MAY be needed...
40#s will do fine if there not in a current.;) Those will do great. Just get 'em in while theyre still green.
Look great Kieth, You inspire me!
will crappiepappy i can tell you this, these will be sunk in reelfoot lake and watersheds around obion county. i have 50-60 blocks that i picked up from the scrap pile in town. The county built a new high school here and the construction supervisor said i could have all that i wanted. single and double hole blocks. Im going to put all the condos, cover i can out..
I am also wondering what everyone thinks about wire tying some cane on the verticle pieces horizonatlly. I thought it might push the spread out some and cast a shadow under the horizonal pieces. I dont really know if its a good idea or if i should leave it alone. Anyones thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. If any one is going to come here and fish,pm me and i will put ya`ll on some of these. I`m not stingy.........
Keith, from what I've seen on my graph the already look like a mushroom top under the water. I'd leave well enough alone and just make more. I'd sink 3 together spread out about 10'-15' apart if your gonna be making that many.:)
Ok thanks. I am looking for a good ff-df. I have found a hummingbird 581l with 16 level gray scale 640y-320h. It has a 5 inch display and gps chartplotting with built in uni map. Also a internal antenna. Know i dont have any idea when it comes to all these things. What do you think? U think this is a good one or do you think somthing else is better. The price is $318.95.
Those condos look a lot like the ones i've built. Trust me there have been plenty of crappie caught off of them. Yours should do really well. You just need more of them! :D
