neat idea. a guy could probably good to the nursery store and pick up tubing and misters and hook it up to small pump and make one.

    Talking Don't think I'd like it ....

.... I'm not too fond of getting/being wet :p while I'm trying to fish.

It says it uses the "boat's water supply" ... what the heck is a "transom shower", anyway :o

It hooks up under a Bimini top ... but, trying to fish from under a Bimini is a pain, whether it's hot OR comfortable. (been there, done that )

Fish at night ... fish in the shade ... or carry a spray bottle of cold water & "mist" yourself as needed .... :D

    ... cp

Fished with a buddy of mine last week that has a same, or similar system under an 8' umbrella. In 100 degree heat, mister running and a slight breeze it was very comfortable. Came off the lake at 3PM, and felt as refreshed as when we started.

I build boats for a living and have done this for several customers. properly done it will cool an area about 20 degrees and nothing gets wet. the cheapos will saturate everything and basically just increase the humidity.

    .

The well designed misters work very well in my part of the country but our humidity is relatively low (usually under 30 %). In high humid areas I would not know.

no I haven't but it definitely looks like a good ideal especially here where I live it's been running into the hundreds for the past two months.

I've been to several Flea Markets that used those systems. Worked good.
