It's hard to read this and not drive down there and picket that dealer. Think if enough Crappie.com members in the area get together and hold a little friendly sit-in with signs right in front of the dealer, they'd change their tune.

If it happened to someone in this area, I'd be more then happy to protest for a couple hours. The unions do it all the time, and this is probably one of the strongest unions, with the lowest dues, in this great nation or ours.

I hope in the end you are happy, and get the boat. Got to be hard to even take it from the dealer at this point. Seems like the dealer you didn't want to use initially might deserve the commission more then the bum you are dealing with?????

Although this dealer primarily deals in aluminum, it's almost standard operating procedure around here when buying a tin boat from a dealer that primarily sells glitter boats and pleasure cruisers.

They may even treat you decent up to the point that they have money in hand and then you drop to the bottom of the list for any dealings after that.

Yep, it's really, really all here this time! Didn't sleep well at all last night wondering what it was gonna be like when we saw it. We picked it up this morning. It looks great, there are a few minor things to deal with - a couple of paint scuffs down to the primer - they're supposed to get us some touch up paint. The trim gauge was wired backwards, so when you trim it up, the gauge goes down; a faulty lock on one of the compartments - nothing major though. The dealer apologized to Paul and admits he "screwed the pooch on this one." We'll be sending a letter to War Eagle detailing our experience with their dealer and then putting the whole thing behind us so we can enjoy our new boat!

You got right attitude-Yep, don't blame the boat, send a letter to WAR EAGLE then put your thoughts to enjoying that new addition to your family and get some fish slime on it:D:D Congrats on the new boat......
