    That doesn't sound right. I'll have to dig it all out and look again.

    Question It don't "seem" right ...

    ... that a 24:1 oil mixture would be twice as much as 50:1 .... but it is

    A pint to 6 gallons is what My mechanic has always told me. The old 24:1 motors, My dad told me they use to use regular 30 weight motor oil in those old outboard's gas mixtures but You mixed it twice as strong as the 2 stroke oil. he said back then, there was no two stroke oil. Is that why there is a 24:1 rating on oil or do they really need the double dose? CF
