Default Back in business...brush to go pics

Got alot lot of cleanup completed. No one showed up for the cleanup party.:o

I did pretty good for an old man. Went thru 2 chain saw blades and big trees.

    Got more brush lined up.

Also mounted a v2 power drive on my Jon Boat. Wow.

Brenda and I caught a bunch of fish. Had to wade thru a lot of little ones. Probably caught 60-70 fish, but kept 17.

I cleaned a couple of fish that had meat which real yellow looking. I didn't keep them. I should have taken pictures, but to lazy to go get the camera.

Water temp 85 degrees. Fish caught under boat docks doodle socking.

FUN FUN FUN, however tree cutting sucked.

I prefer the heat pump. No logs to tote.

    Question Yella Meat

Tom, funny you should mention the yellow meat. Wife & I camped up at Big Bear last week & I caught a nice Black Crappie that had the same yella meat. I kept it aside & showed it to a buddy of mine that guides. He said he'd never seen it before. Wonder what causes that?

Was always told the crappies with yellow meat were females who didnt/couldnt spawn out, and there bodies had absorbed the eggs, thus turning there flesh yellow.
Only time i have ever caught/seen fish with yellow meat was during the early summer, just after the last of the spawn.
