Good job. I know you’re proud as well as happy he’s found crappie fishing exciting.
My 13 year old son loves to fish but has always preferred to
Bass fish! I’ve tried to get him into sacalait and he was always like no dad I like to catch bass. Well fast forward to our trip to the lake conditions were horrible rain, wind, and more rain but he roughed it out with me getting soaked numerous times for our evening trip on the water. He was watching the livescope and was figuring it out even had caught a few small ones at this point. All of a sudden one a little over a pound blew his jig up and the fight was on! I saw his eyes light up and I could see his heart racing through his shirt once he landed it he had the biggest grin. I give him a high five and his first words was get the scale dad get the scale it weighed a touch over a pound. It wasn’t long after he said he wanted to start buying some jigs and plastics for sacalait! He said our next trip to the lake he will wake up earlier to make the early fish to because he loved catching so many sacs! Definitely a proud dad moment!Attachment 493407
