    Default Turkey Creek

Drove to Monroe yesterday afternoon. No hurry, so made a side trip to Turkey Creek Lake. Lots of catfish ponds in the area. Nice campground south of the bridge and launch there also. Closes late at night and opens early in morning Several people have cautioned me that you shouldn’t run at much over an idle because of stumps everywhere that you can’t see! Lots of cypress trees, so no shortage of cover. Here are some pictures Name: 4081BF45-5906-4E69-B3FB-BE38C17DEDA8.jpeg

Yes looks wide open. If you know what you're doing you can run it but I haven't been over an idle yet on it. We usually put in at Kings Landing. It's back in the cypress trees.

I have never been to Tom Kings Landing, but I found a description of how to get there on Bass Boat Central. East of the bridge take Batey Road north , then right on Willie Herron, then Left on Tom Kings Landing Road, or it might be called Blue Roberts Road. Not sure this is correct, but seems to be on Google Maps.
If anyone has actually been there please correct me.
