Slept in this morning, and rain forecast for the afternoon, so I decided to fish my backyard, Concordia. I have tried, but never caught a crappie on Concordia.
Gofish88 had given me some advice and encouragement so I went to an area that he suggested. I caught 5 or 6 bream on jigs, but no crappie. I found one tree that appeared to have crappie on it, but no takers. That tree reminded me of some trees I sunk after the big freeze a couple years ago. Pulled up there and there were lots of fish on In a little while, I had my first Lake Concordia Crappie!! I released the first two fish, and then kept a couple for supper. It was nice to catch fish on structure that I created!!
    Thanks Jim Ty Ty
