Default 55 years of spring night fishing. Cross lake and LOP,

My little boat, a Coleman lantern, and some minnows is where it all started in early 1965, AND its my favorite way to put up some nice fish for a fish fry. Pics are a from Cross lake, and Lake O Pines. Just two trips out of a 18-20 night trips we made since the Red buds bloomed. When the Dogwoods start slowing, the pattern stops for me. I could be wrong though. Took a 10-15 year break from here but still at it off-line. Don Stamper.

Nice mess of fish. I’ve never tried night fishing, will have to do so in the future.

What kind of lights do you use now?
How long does it usually take for the crappie to move in and start biting?
