Default Lake of The Pines with LiveScope

Treated myself to a Black Friday LiveScope package from Bass Tank and used for the 1st time yesterday on Lake of the Pines in Marshall , TX. Hardly any wind to battle yesterday and marked plenty of fish and caught 41 crappie for the day with my son. Saw plenty of fish on the Garmin Live scope and probably got 50% to bite our jigs. We did catch two fish over two pounds and some are starting to showName: IMG_2762.jpg

Size: 44.5 KB eggs. Still not going to give up cranking for crappie and now have another tool to monkey around with. Been trolling for fish since I was and kid and will not quit. You can definitely locate fish with Live scope, but not a guarantee that they will bite. Here are a few pictures from yesterday .

Good pics and some great catches. You said it exactly, Livescope is a tool. Doesn’t guarantee they will bite but helps locate them.

    Excellent report and pics!
    Thank you, I enjoyed it.
What did they bite best? Hair Jigs, plastics?

Good report!! Y’all did fantastic for first time with Livescope!
I used to fish LOP when I lived in Shreveport. Fantastic lake, but be careful of the wind!!
Are the fish still out in front of the dam?

These fish were caught in the mid lake area stump field and we were using Bone Head plastic bodies in Palestine Special color with Chartreuse Bone Head jigs.
Went to Cypress Lake this morning and only could put 7 in the box, guess I still have some home work to do.
Thanks escout thanked you for this post
