    Default Magician is back in town!


    Howdy y’all! I’m up visiting family in Shreveport for about a week and I wanted to poke in and say hi. :D

    Hey Shadow, slab hunter, stump jumper, and all those handles I can’t remember! I hope you guys been catching them all these years since I left the fresh water.

    I’m gunna go wet a line while I am in town. Where should I take the boat? I figure with these freezes that the river channels in most lakes have some slabs in them.

    Were they biting y’all?

    1. Caddo
    2. Grand Bayou
    3. Lake of the Pines
    4. Claiborne

    These 4 were some of my favorites. You guys know if they have turned on at any of these. I’ll let y’all choose my fishing hole. :D

    Good to hear from you FM. I've not been fishing much lately due to some family health challenges, so I don't have any advice on where to catch fish.

    Last I'd heard, you had a salt water charter business. Still doing that? And how's your family? Kids yet?

    Hey Markham, I'm still around. Hadn't hit any salt water lately because I had a stroke back in late August, doing good now though. I have made a few freshwater trips down here and caught a few but nothing to brag about. May make a trip this Saturday. Scott, I know they have one baby (girl, I believe) she should be a toddler now. Not sure if they have anymore. Good to hear from you Markham! Give me a call sometime.
