    Default Bayou Macon Cutoff Bream

Took my mother-in-law fishing today, we ended up with about 70 keepers and ones that swallowed hook. We probably caught around 125 total on worms and crickets. The wind picked up at one point and I thought we were going to get wet, but it ended up being a good day and fun time. What kind of artificial lures do y’all use for bream?

It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.

Great catch! And glad you enjoy spending time with your MIL. Wish mine was still around.

I'm more of a worm guy for bream, but I've had a lot of luck with small black beetle spins too.
