Default Louie is Muddy. Fish Don’t Seem Concerned

Got an early start yesterday and went to Louie. Water still up about a foot high and muddy. The surprise was current. Apparently irrigation runoff is causing a noticeable current!
I fished submerged lay downs in 5 to 7 fow and caught some nice crappie on shiners. Current slowed around noon and so did the bite.

Good catch! We have a bass tournament over there for next weekend. Gonna go tomorrow and try it.

Caught 2 bass. One of them would weigh. Released them just for you.

Went back this morning. I got my LSV34-Livescope put together yesterday. Got to the landing and outboard wouldn’t start. Figured I would fish around the landing and try out Livescope. Fifteen minutes into that, the foot switch quit working!! I had a spare, so I replaced it. Fished for a couple hours after that. Got 3 bites caught one. I was surprised that I could identify spoonbill, gar, catfish and some crappie. There lots of big fish maybe buffalo and carp swimming around.
    Way too hot for June!!
