    Default Larto Tourney

Haven’t posted on here in years but saw this and thought some of y’all might want to come fish.

Crappie tournament April 9th 2022 to benefit the Larto July 4th Fireworks 💥?

All proceeds would go directly to the show !
$80 entry fee for single or 2 man team.

We will have 1st , 2nd and 3rd place plaques.
Depending on interest and boats registered we will try to also have a payout.

We will follow Crappie Masters Trail rules , with one exception, best 7 will be weighed live and released back into the lake .
Event would be held at Larto Family General Store.

We are looking for sponsors and donations for cost and door prizes !
💯 percent 💯 percent of the money raised will go toward the firework show.

We will be looking for volunteers also, to help set-up , weigh master (Rudy Deville cough cough !) , kiddos to release the fish back into the lake .
    More details to come !

We understand a lot of people have camps on the complex , you DO NOT have to launch at the gas station. Just do a livewell check and check in at the table with a committee member.

    Sponsors thus far :
    Larto Family General
    Holloway Outdoors and General Store

Do the fish have to be brought in to the weigh-in alive?

Yes, alive according to Crappie Master Trail Rules to be released back into the lake. Not like previous tournaments where they could be weighed fresh, no discoulered eyes.

Fish the flats 1-10 foot. Prolly be wanting shiners by then, but if you don’t find anything, look a little deeper.
