    Default Big Creek

Got to the launch an hour late and was still the first one there, I guess the cool temperature kept the rest home. I knew of a few brush piles in the area so I figured I would see who was home. I brought 50 shiners ended up feeding a bunch of small fish, had 1 keeper. Sac A Lait ain’t the only thing that like shiners, had a big cat take my bait and after about 5 minutes he got tired of playing with me and broke my rod in two getting away. I found 3 tops loaded down with small fish. Name: IMG_0430.jpg

I have never actually fished it, but Big Creek runs into little river close to the mouth at catahoula lake. It is known for crappie at certain times of the year.
