Went back to Louie this morning. Just a few little ones at first on the point. Then along a steep bank I caught a few slightly larger ones. Then went down the bayou to a spot I fished last time. Caught a couple nice ones and then got hung up on a submerged log. Managed to get off without makingName: 2B16DF6F-710E-4F89-80B3-E73649F2C073.jpeg

Does it have a drop off? Thanks for replying. I have only put in at the bridge but have been wanting to fish the lake. Just wanted to know what to look for. Nice catch you got there.

No drop off now I haven’t fished there when the water was very low. There’s also Bill’s Landing on the south side of Lovelace Lake. Very steep narrow ramp. My boat is 18 foot Scout. Takes a decent ramp or it’s scary launching.
