Ha Ha the Laugh is on Us!!
Had the great pleasure to join Skippa Chippa for a trip to Ha Ha today. Water had a little stain in it but looked pretty good. Lots of gar, jumping carp and some shad on the surface. Trolling crank baits. Skippa has it down to a science. Unfortunately. the fish weren’t hungry. Well, the little gar were. We caught one crappie! Lots of little gar, and hooked one “sea monster “. He broke most of the hooks off of a Bandit. No bear sightings. One big alligator sighting.
Had a great time and learned a lot! Thanks Skippa for the invite! Great fun!!

I still can't figure out where we went wrong, the water was down over a foot from my last trip and the visibility much cleaner. We had plenty fish showing on the screan, barametric preasure was on the fall. Both reliable spots produced nothing, the only thing I can think is Spot put the jinks on us cause he didn't get to come on this trip. It was nice having some good company along on this trip, we'll have to do it again Art.
