You should have gone fishing in your yard
It's still THICK, you could probably plowed rows in it. I woke early to Spot on side of the bed whining to go out so I let him out and made coffee. Checked the river levels and as I expected a slight rise due to the rain the last couple evenings, so we headed south. No fish and no pictures, maybe next week.

All reports are good reports! As jchag1718 said, you saved him a trip! Keep the reports coming, even if they don't have any fish in them! Thanks Chip!

Went yesterday but not to fish. Had to do some work on my little boat with the 15hp. So it was just to test run. Two boats were out there. One long-lining jigs and the other spider-rigging. Neither were catching as the water was rising. Two of the four drains into the lake had current coming out of them. Red dirt rain run-off and the dock at the landing is under water. Now for the good. The water color really isn't that bad. It's has enough clarity to catch fish. If we get one solid dry week, it should be good to go.
