Default Da Lac and Da Tic

Been on a good bite at da Lac the last few weeks. So getting a so so report on da Tfunk I say da Lac it is.

Got an early start. Launch just after day light. Ran straight to where I left em last trip. O no green water.Algae bloom.
Not a bump. Found some clean water in a canal and found a few sacs dat would bite. Bout 11am I said it's hot and da feesh ain't cooperating.

Well I said I'm stoping at da Tic. It's on the way home and I haven't been in weeks. Well da water is up and muddy as I expected. Hit some spots south of the 22 bridge and NADA nothing. Ran up river to da Blood and found some feesh willing to bite. Lots of little feesh but did catch 3 or 4 keepers. Water seem to be a tad better in da blood and less boats.

Way to salvage a trip! I don't think I have seen water that green before. Years ago, my dad, brother and myself went duck hunting on black bayou by my house and the water in the marsh would "glow" where we were using the push pole. We figured it was an algae bloom. Haven't seen that again since that early morning many moons ago!
