    Default Lowrance problem

I have a Lowrance Hook 2 fish finder that is on the blink. It's not even a year old. when I turn it on, I only get a yellow blank screen on 2d sonar . This is a unit that I use on the boat I keep at my camp 100 miles away. So, I was at my camp this past weekend and I brought the unit back home with me. I called Lowrance and the technician gave me the instructions to conduct a soft reset, and if that doesn't work, a hard reset. Now , I've got to wait for 2,3 or 4 weeks until I go back to my camp to do this.

My question is, is there someone out there within 50 miles of Ville Platte that has a similar unit that I could go over and plug into their power source on their boat to see if it works on their boat, and if not, to conduct the reset? thanks.

I had the same thing happen to me with my Hook 5. Replaced it with a Hummingbird Helix 7.
