    Default Amelia, Round 4

Made the trip back to Amelia this past Saturday (4th Saturday in a row). Knew the fishing would be tough again following the cold front but scratched up 18 sacs. Water was a bit lower than it had been but clarity was better. Black/chartreuse hair jigs 12-16" under cork. Most were caught on the cypress trees but a few of the bigger fish were on dead laydowns.

Nice catch. Fishing under a cork is fun.

Nice. Last trip I made there wasn’t so good. That rig they moved in had a lot of tug traffic and had the canals so churned up

Yeah, trying to decide if we're going to head back Saturday or go look at something new. We definitely didn't find much that looked good around the rig. Thought about Gibson but they got like 12' of rain so far this week.
