Got to the landing around 1245 and wondered if I would even have a place to park. Never seen so many trucks there. Launched and ran to where I had caught fish a few days ago. Water looked decent but still a little dirty. Boats everywhere, mostly bass tournament fishermen that seemed to be catching a decent mess of pickles. I didn’t get a bite for the longest time. Rode all over looking for decent water and trying different spots, different depths with no luck but some bites from garfish. Finally found a few the last hour and a half of so before dark. Caught these a foot and half deep on black and chartreuse at the base of trees
