Heading your way

I'll be down visiting my son, a.k.a. remodeling his bathroom and sun room, for 2-3 weeks starting around Feb 16th. Scheduling conflicts won't allow my buddy Jeff to tag along for this trip and I don't really like to fish alone. So, if anyone has room in their boat and doesn't mind fishing with a Yankee give me a yell. It would be a shame to be there for that much time and not do some fishing. I'll be staying in Calhoun so was thinking somewhere within an hour or so but I'm flexible on that.

wow you are just a short drive from Darbonne which is a fantastic crappie lake. just saw a segment on Crappie Masters about it, where to stay, eat and guides for the lake. You definitely should hook up with a guide if you can't find an empty seat and take your son for what should be a great day.

Sparty actually fishes D'arbonne a couple times a year when he is down. He is looking for someone to fish with him as his buddy can't come down this time and his son works. He knows D'arbonne pretty well.

Have a boat down there too but I'm remodeling a bathroom and three seasons room plus laying 1000 sq ft of vinyl plank floor while I'm there. Not sure if I want to take the time to get the boat out and ready if I don't have a lot of time to fish.
