    Went to lake pontchartrain looking for some salty species. I may end up in the big house if this continues. Martin. Saw your river. Shoulda went there. Wss going to fish the bridges but it woulda been a rough ride and I was alone so. Maybe next time. I did sleep well last night.

    This time of the year if you can get out in a small boat, trolling big rattle traps close to the bottom can produce some big trout. Another tip for the twin bridges area is to fish the up current side. Brings back some big fish memories.

    I was in geoghans canal trolling crankbaits to catch the bass. The wind was not too bad but I was unsure of going to the bridges. I launched at fort pike. Thanks for the info. I have a feeling I will be back on the next low wind weekend..

    Vet,

    U can put in @ the 90 bridge and Pearl river. Go south for bass and salt feesh. Go up to da I 10 bridge for sacs. I will go down the old Pearl river and shoot across da rigolets if it's calm enough.into lake Catherine pass. Drop a live shrimps in da deep holes and hold on. Reds,trout,blue cats, green trout, drum, sheep's can bite.
