Brad my Brother had a house on Wollen Lake ,, which is close.. it is about 9 ft deep dishpan almost devoid of structure.. A twig on the bottom will hold Crappie. it should be about the same for fishing because they are about the same age
Hi guys, my father in law is looking to buy a lot on lake lafourche in North la. I've never spent any time fishing it so was hoping that someone could give me some info on how the fishing is on it. Thanks a bunch fellas.

It is a decent crappie lake. Does have a channel ,need to learn where channel is lots of big stumps on edge!! It usually kicks off right after woolen. Good early lake. Coops can be good early during spawn

I have a camp on Lake Lafourche. It's an OK lake. I've been there 3 years. My first fishing trip on the lake produced 24 PIGS. I've never had a day like that again. LOL. I spider rig when I fish there. My next door neighbor tightlines and he does well. He's been catching a few fish the last couple of months, but they are extrememly small, which bodes well for the future. It's a wonderful community and if he likes to hunt, the Bouef WMA is right there. Woolen lake is about 5 miles away as well as the Bouef River, which usually turns on in the warm months. Then there is Horseshoe Lake about 20 miles away. So, there are plenty of places to fish. I love it.
Already picking up on yo-yos won’t be long
