So after leaving the bridge we stopped at a few laydowns and I fished them like I should. Thorough. Not a tug. Not a nibble. But on the way to the next stop the shad in the middle of that bayou on the ff would have made y’all drool ?

But if I would have set up to spider rig I would have hindered Zack’s bass tactics so I resisted torture if my only son.

So the tm batteries were shall I say. AWESOME. AT the end if the day the test meter had 4 lights still. Can’t wait to try pulling cranks again as the last cranking trip the batteries got weak pretty fast.

So as the day wore on the bass became mire active. They came from the bottom on a tx rig crawfish. Either blue or purple. Not sure which. But it yielded 4 beautiful filets. Fishing is not about catching. It is about spending time with a son that i have about ONE thing in common. Have a great week y’all.
