Nothing like getting to use your own boat! I also put a Terrova on my Bass Tracker 40th Anniversary and use Garmin electronics. They will do you well!
Was finally able to put my new to me boat in the water. Decided to try PP since I had conference calls all morning. Only catch was one slightly smaller than a shad lol. Good news is the boat ran well and I got to play with the Terrova and Garmin units. Will have to figure out why the waypoints aren’t sharing.

We had that front blow through to shut down the bite
I knew it was bad when I made it to launch and only 3 vehicles were there.

Beats working!
Do you have your units connected directly with a cable or into a network box?

You are correct, we enjoyed cruising around since it was the first time in this boat. Took the opportunity to teach my daughter how to drive and some safety features.
They are connected with the Ethernet right now, which did share the transducer. I may be ordering the livescope this week, so I’ll likely connect via brown and blue wires. I have some playing around to do with the units because the console unit wasn’t showing on the left (engine) side even while idling, but worked perfect trolling at the same trim.

The only downside with brown and blue wires is you won't be able to share the livescope on both units (not sure if that's important). You probably need to enable user data sharing on both units if waypoints are not showing up.

I think they were enabled, but I’ll double check. It’d be cool to see the livescope at the console, but I don’t think it’s worth buying the switch. I’ll try it without first, since I can always add it later. This is the first time I’ve used anything better than a 5” DI unit, so I definitely have a lot to learn.

Poverty Point isn't the lake it used to be. They say you can't fish a lake but they have that one. I've seen as many as 72 boats in the first chute in the winter and people keeping everything they caught. D'Arbonne is still a good lake but it's headed in the wrong direction and if something doesn't change soon it will be very evident in the next few years. The advancement in electronics and social media is hurting the fish population of a lot of lakes.

I missed the great days of PP. it is convenient for me when I take the kids, just in case they need to make a store run if the fish aren’t biting.
