    Default Lake Claiborne

Well, staying at BigJohn's for 1 night before heading to Darbonne for the gathering for the weekend and he lives 5 miles from Claiborne so had to give it a shot! Beautiful lake, TOUGH to fish! Fished every water from 2 foot to 28 foot, vertical jigging, casting ultralights and longlineing jigs, caught ONE BREAM! Beautiful pumpinkseed bream though!Name: 20201112_165740.jpg

I have heard it referred to as the "Dead Sea" before, but I ain't through with her yet! And now that I know Juicy lives right there too, well let's just say round 2 should be a little better! Bisteneau is another lake that I have in my sights that I have never fished before!
