    Well, staying at BigJohn's for 1 night before heading to Darbonne for the gathering for the weekend and he lives 5 miles from Claiborne so had to give it a shot! Beautiful lake, TOUGH to fish! Fished every water from 2 foot to 28 foot, vertical jigging, casting ultralights and longlineing jigs, caught ONE BREAM!     Nice boat ramp but it mite take some time to get diailed in on that lake. Ya'll have a good time at Darbone.

    I have heard it referred to as the "Dead Sea" before, but I ain't through with her yet! And now that I know Juicy lives right there too, well let's just say round 2 should be a little better! Bisteneau is another lake that I have in my sights that I have never fished before!

    I haven't been to Claiborne in a few years but I want to try it this winter. It can be tuff to fish.
