Default Anybody have experience on Tew Lake North of Jonesville, LA?

I have recently gained access to Tew lake and would love to hear from anyone who has experience on the lake. I have looked around a bit and it looks to be somewhat shallow with the deepest parts around 13-14 feet deep. There is a fair amount of stumps and cypress in the lake which makes me think things will heat up at some point. It is a beautiful lake but on 2 attempts I have not caught a crappie yet. Hopefully with water temps falling the fish will become more active. Any stories, advice, or tips will be much appreciated.

it is really good in the spring, Have caught them in there first week of feb spawning. It is usually one of the first lakes in the area for fish to go shallow. Also have caught them along the deep water trolling.

That’s good to hear. I was beginning to wonder if anybody could see my post. Thanks for the info. I will be looking forward to the end of hunting season so we can get busy on the lake.

let’s make it happen. I need you to look at some brush piles with that live scope. I feel like I know you already from another website. You recently posted about your trip on Kincaid in both places. I had you nailed

    Stop it!

Killed them again yesterday before the lightning started. Most I have ever seen on a brush pile. I had three in the boat before tigerfoot could tie on a jig.
