    If you have had bad experiences casting braid, try nanofil in 6 or 8. Casts a mile.

    My 2 cents.......
    Been using spyderwire stealth glow vis for a few years now, converted from fireline.
    Much cheaper than powerpro.
    10 lb on spinning reel for casting and jig pole, 15 lb on cork n shiner pole.
    15 lb handles nicely, either will straighten jig or shiner hook.

    Yes, it will wrap on rod tip, especially when raining.
    I have learned to keep rod tip below 10:00 position really helps with this.

    I use both, I do love braid, no memory and it lasts a long time. I use mono in the 2-6# tests, so I can see to tie knots. I do use mono leaders with my braid, it helps with wrapping around rod tip and knotting problems.
