    Default Crappie nibbles!

Man, I've been using the green glitter ones and have to say they work really well on a hair jig! Almost every fish I've caught in the last couple of months has been on that combo. Maybe the glitter looks like scales coming off or something? I'm sold!

This was from Whiskey Bay today.

I don't know what it is, but that's the only kind I use, and won't drop a jig in the water without one on the hook. I too think that the glitter maybe resembles scales falling. I've tried the gold, blue and red, and none seem to work as well as the green ones do

The crowd has gone south towards Bayou Benoit for a few weeks now. It's not nearly as crowded when I pass over the Henderson launch. It's more of a shade thing now!

I love them, I add a spray of Slab Sauce to them also.

I have been using them more. I think it helps when I get tired of putting them on I just fish with the plain jig....if the bite continues great...if not I remain resigned to applying crappie nibbles.....do what it takes to put fish on the end of the line.

I find them OK but I just don't like the mess they make on my boat carpet...and my jeans...

I don't have carpet so that's a non-issue! Just spray down and every now and then. I do get that glitter all over my face after a trip and wife/kids always joke about that!

I have never seen them make a difference. For me, the only difference is the amount of bluegill irritation.
