    Im going to Florida around December. I will have a few days to spare on way home was looking for campground suggestions close to good fishing in the south Louisiana preferably on the water. I will have a boat with me

    I’ve done lots searching online and have not really found anything

    You may want to check out Fontainebleu State Park near Mandeville, La. It is on your way home and has both fresh and saltwater fishing, camping, cabins and more. There is a boat launch on Bayou Cane nearby that offers good freshwater fishing as well as terrific scenery. I haven't been there in years, but now I may want to revisit with the grandkids. Good luck and have a safe trip home.

    Lake End Park in Morgan City on the South West shore of Lake Palourde...nice campground, good launch..fished there many times...

    Lake End Park Campground & Marina. Morgan City, La.
