I’m still chasing the fresh water sea monster, yesterday we put eyeballs on each other from a distance That sucka is huge a big ole alligator gar. The fishing was steady most of the morning more garfish this morning but if it would not be for the size of the sacalait I would not travel that far. I didn’t get many pictures today but ended up with 15 in the box. Name: IMG_0832.jpg

The rod was at my door in 3 days, I paired it with one of those Eagle Claw Ice fishing reel. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but if the water in the Ouachita starts clearing up those downed trees look very inviting.

    Hey Skip ,
I'm glad to hear you solved the sea monster riddle....It hurts me to see your purdy cranks destroyed and know you lost some to them too.You do a real nice job getting them painted. Thanks as always for another great and enlightening report.
