    Default Ouachita part deaux 8/6


    Back at it bright and early today.

    Didn't catch many but definitely made a size upgrade today.

    Same pattern as yesterday, 1/32 jigs pitched around stumps. Fish really only bit for about an hour.

    Don't know if I'll fish tomorrow. Mrs 20 and I will be making a over night trip down to Franklin LA to pick up a goat.

    Where on the river are you fishing? I always wanted to fish Ouachita. I'm in the Shreveport area. It's beautiful driving over it on I-20 at Monroe.

    90% of my fishing is from Sterlington north, but thats mainly because it's only about 15 minutes from my house. There's some fantastic fishing on the lower end of darbone bayou and some good river lakes near there if you like spider rigging.
