    I have never fished it Myself but Early in the year the Black Crappie bite good in Black Lake just off Hwy 165 just north of the Wildlife & Fisheries office.. there is a Restriction on the Motor size, I think it is 40 HP --- A shallow lake with Cypress

    Unless you're running live scope the river bite has been really tuff for at least 2 months now

    Yes 20watt, using the Livescope and picking a few up in the D'arbonne bayou off the main river. Hopefully this tropical storm won't dump a lot of rain here. Brown/orange seems to be working. What other colors are good??

    Anything with orange tail is good, silver and chartreuse, gold and chartreuse are all winners
