We can pretty much go to anywhere in state, so we are looking to find a place to rent when I get home from offshore this coming Thursday? Do ya'll know of a cabin anywhere pretty nice for us to rent and have a chance to catch a couple?

We were thinking pretty hard about Larto but Uncle Bud's took their cabins off of their website not sure if they are still renting them out or not...

Give Stacy a call at Uncle Buds Cabins (318) 339-7530 to see if they have cabins available. The lake is on a drawdown be careful and stay in the middle of the canals.

Not to discourage you but, Larto has been slow lately. Drawdown has kind of messed the sacs up. You might want to consider the basin or other options. Hope you do well once you decide.

Has anyone fished Lake St. John before? I actually have been looking and found a cabin that isn't to bad out there but I know nothing about that lake AT ALL..................... it would be completely new water to me!
Thank you Mr. Chip for that number! All of Nyla's puppies have finally went to their new homes so we are FINALLY free to be able to fish again and ole buddy is she ready! I asked her if she I ready to go fishing she runs to the boat and starts whinning!
