Sometimes. They'll hit small beetlespins, roadrunners and trout magnets. Darker colors. Black/brown, black/chartreuse. It's so much easier with worms and crickets, though.
Do any of you guys, fish and catch bream with artificial bait? If so, which kind of bait and color? thx

I too use a beetle spin with a big gold blade, and a small jig (usually black/chart). They have to be really aggressive otherwise they will hardly hit it.

What hthoang said! Although at times you can catch them on the white beetle spin with the red dot and the black / chrt. are your best bets for artificial!

Any small jig or fly is deadly. The trout magnet is a good one.
If you check out the main Bream forum, I’d say most people are using artificial baits.
Black and small. When you have it in front of an aggressive bream he will take it purty quick.

I use a lot of different small jigs and spinners. I catch all I want with basic black or purple. I do use crappie nibbles. I make my own baits.
My go to bait is a Southern Pro creekspin with a 1 inch Charlie Brewer Slider. The bream here seem to prefer pink and/or chartreuse, might be just me and what I’m confident with though. I also use the 1 1/2 inch sliders and cut about 1/4 inch off the big end, for bream. I have some “Crappie Crazy” bodies that work great too, but I can’t find any more of those. I usually use a pink or chartreuse head too.
