    Default Louie again

Back to Bayou Louie after a busy week at work. Only one fishing boat and just me at the landing. Forgot both depth finders at the house. Water was about 3 feet lower than last trip. Started out where I left off a few weeks ago. Got bites, but slower than last time with at least half of them small. That’s how it is at Bayou Louie. Fish were all along a drop off, with pockets of a few fish grouped up. Shiners spider rigged one hook per pole. Hook 2.5 to 3 feet above 3/4 oz weight. Didn’t catch a single catfish! Had 2 big ufo’s (unidentified fishy object) that swam away and pulled off. Skiers were late getting out (maybe they went to church? It was cooler so I stayed till 3 pm. Fun trip, but wish I hadn’t forgot my depth finders Also, I’ve been using Barkeepers Friend to clean myName: EDEDFDA1-1597-402E-A3CB-4BA295FC5714.jpeg

Size: 92.2 KB fiberglass boats. Works great and costs a fraction of the marine stuff. Comes in spray, liquid, and powder. I used the liquid and a Scotchbrite pad to clean my 46 year old sailboat.
