Default Another buddy, another honey hole

Well another friend decided to let me in on one of his honey holes close to home. Caught most fish on tops 5-6' down. Caught on bluegrass plastics and a custom hand tied jig - The Patriot - tied by another buddy of ours. Also caught a couple on a micro fiber jig I tie. And a few on JR's special jig. Ended with 9 I believe and threw back at least that many. Started about 6:30 and picked up at 11:15. Even caught a racing crappie! Even fished some in mom and dad's back yard - mom and Max that someone dumped at the end of there road on Mother's Day- best gift mom AND Max could get! And just ended it at the family camp fish/shrimp fry for fathers day. All in all, a great day!Name: 20200619_071020.jpg

I think Mom had been praying for that for awhile now! lol The neighbor across the street from mom and dad also rescued a dog that was dropped off out there. Doubt seriously if you know that area we were fishing, I haven't fished that area since the 80's! lol
