Fine catch
I had to sneak in a quick trip before the rain yesterday. They were in the same spot and mean as ever. I figured after a couple of boats seeing were I was at and catching there would not be as many fish but was I wrong. The amount of fish that come out of this place is unbelievable, the parking lot at both launches stay full.

When I got out of the Navy in 1972 I lived with my mother in law in Marksville for 3 months until I went back to LSU and fished there every day. I haven't been there in many many years but sure have fond memories. Back then you could cast a small Beetle Spin and catch everything that swam there - and I did.

You got my #. I'm booked up through Sunday and it looks like rain M - W and I go back to work next Thursday but off again the following Thursday for 7 days. Just holler at me. Marty, if you want to go, we can bream fish 3 out of the boat fairly easy but won't have room for Buddy so if you want to make a separate trip and bring Buddy, I'm good with that too!
