Thread: Jighead colors?

Not thinking it matters....jigrig has no color and ALWAYS has fish caught....it is the confidence you have in the bait that you’re fishing....tie it on correctly....size matters more than color....weight is more important than color also....CONFIDENCE is key...

I usually fish plain lead color and do well at times. Just wondering if I'm missing out by not fishing a colored head. Thanks

Others will feel different about this but when you put the bait in front of a feeding or aggressive fish you will get bit.

If the water I’m fishing has predominately white crappie, (and dirty water),I use a colored head

Painted head for me. Seems to me if jig color matters, head color just might matter. That being said, I have every color tube you can imagine, but only use about three or four 99% of the time
