    Default Blood river/Lizard Creek questions

    Good Morning all,

I recently started the fishing the blood river/lizard creek area. launching at boopalus and traveling up river.

First trip out we could not find any water that was clean with the exception of the 2 lakes on Carters Plantation. That trip netted a few bass, 1 sacalait, a bunch of bream and catfish.

The trip yesterday resulted in only bream.

I prefer live bait, shiners, crickets, and worms.

However I am really enjoying the section of river and would love to hear from any of you more seasoned guys in the area. is there any areas I should be specifically targeting? should I switch the live bait to some form of jigs?
