JR I usually just bass fish up here, and have had pretty good success. The other fish I catch are usually on a bass bait. However I have been throwing jigs on ultralights for a portion of all my trips the last couple months. Even your favorite tube jig colors. Just can't find many crappie. Plus pickwick lake is really a river and the level has acted like a yo yo since we been here. Who would have thought at 400+ ft over sea level I would have had water in the rear yard 3 times since we been here. One of the times 2000 homes flooded. The second time was early this year and the river washed away 2 houses and a road. To make matters worse, I hate when they blow the tornado horn. Scares me. And we even had a hurricane last year. Honestly was a hurricane and the damage took months to clean.
