Home school day 4.
Bayou Pigeon Grand River. Picked up a new student this week she was not crazy about the lesson plan so the boy and I took it easy on her. Only 1 dink caught but only fished for 30 minutes. Caught 10 catfish and 6 or 7 goo from the dock. The boys wanted some extra credit so they came back with a few turtles and a mud snake. Love me some turtle. Think we might try an over night to verrett next week if the weather cools down like the weather man says.

Turtles are the best. Can you picture a SUV traveling down the highway, slamming it's brakes on and a woman jumping out with high heels chasing a snapping turtle with a stick. That's my daughter. She had a special made box to put in the back of the SUV just to put turtles in. I think I taught her right. The best part is she brings them to me.
